Between
Jobs Ministry is a 19 year old program designed to assist
those in transition between employment opportunities
(i.e. out of a job and need a job). This group assists
prospective employees with how to interview, prepare
for a job, resume, spousal support, and also brings
them in association with Christ.
Habitat
for Humanity builds and renovates houses and sells them
to families in need at no profit. Habitat regional affiliates
accomplish this with the help of volunteers, who aid
in all aspects of house construction, and donations.
Habitat for Humanity International was founded in 1976,
and since then has built more than 300,000 houses around
the world, providing safe homes for over 1.5 million
people.
Angel
Tree is a ministry that reaches out to the children
of inmates and their families with the love of Christ.
This unique program gives your church an opportunity
to share Christ’s love by helping to meet the
physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the families
of prisoners.
Every child has a story. For 1.7 million American children,
that story is filled with the abandonment, loneliness,
and shame that comes from having a mom or dad in prison.
For many, it may also include following their parents
down the same destructive road to incarceration.
